Sutherland
Packaging, Inc. (originally Sutherland Poly-Box) was founded
by Gene Sutherland in 1964. With his wife,
Betsy, handling the bookkeeping and running
the office, Gene set out to create a people-based culture
inside who provide personalized customer service outside.
His philosophies have been handed down to the second generation
including Sutherland brothers, Tom, Dan, Mike, and Joe.

After
pursuing a career as a CPA, Tom
Sutherland joined the family business in 1980.
Tom is chronically reinventing our organization to meet your
unique demands. His motive is simple ... make your job easier
by building it better and faster. Fortunately, his means are
considerable ... the very best people you could hope for in
a resource. |

Dan
Sutherland is responsible for overseeing much of
the behind the scenes activity that supports each transaction.
He keeps his finger on the pulse with a continuous flow of email
to production. And, in the unlikely event our systems go down,
Dan’s desk is a scant 15’ from scheduling —
so he can turn our plant upside down for you without rising
from his chair. Anyone who has worked with Dan will attest to
the statement that "Dan somehow makes work fun."

Mike
Sutherland, a seasoned veteran, heads up relations
with major brokers in the metropolitan area while handling accounts
in the Morris County area personally. If you've got a project
that has your people baffled, chances are Mike has already 'been
there, done that' several times over. He brings a systematic
and focused discipline to each opportunity presented to him.
Rarely will you find a salesman who will promote your side of
the equation as emphatically and diligently as Mike does with
each of his customers whom he cultivates for the long term relationship. |

Joe
Sutherland is immersed in the nuts and bolts of
our operations. He brings a diverse complement of mechanical
skills to the mix. He has apprenticed under one of the top talents
in our industry - our very own Bob Roberts. Joe’s training
regimen has given him a multi-faceted view of engineering challenges
posed by one of the more advanced box plants in the northeast. |
