instructions travel a winding path from the customer to our press with stops at sales
service, design, tool vendors and make-ready along the way. Our talented office staff strive to
stamp out any errors before they get to the floor. But when the rare bug does squeeze
through, it's good to know that our press operators will exterminate it before it appears
on a box. Alternate crew chiefs cross-verify their work before calling in quality control
for an independent review.
Our make-ready personnel deliver the print dies to the press
precisely mounted and centered. Corrective action is typically a matter of jogging the
registration a bit fore or aft to clear flap scores. But there are other nettlesome details that most folks (including our customers and tool vendors)
overlook such as area code changes and bar code updates. We are sticklers for details of
this sort, fiercely determined to root out mistakes before pushing the start button.
