A packaging factory a tree-hugger could love. Most corporations are waiting to be drafted into the war to save the environment. We enlisted years ago. We installed a factory-wide, automatic recycling system; a fully enclosed waste water system and a program aimed at designing packs that milk performance out of recyclable components. After all, if it’s not recyclable, it’s garbage.

Over 90% of our waste is in corrugated clippings which is bound in 1,000 pound 'bricks' and sold to recycling mills.

Water is used for cleaning our printing presses of non-hazardous, water-based inks (rated as household waste). Tanker shown above "plugs" directly into our internal system for pump out prior to shipment to a recovery plant. Clean as the driven snow!

Corrugated and the Environment

Corrugated fibreboard accounts for the largest share of all paper grades recovered for recycling.
Over 60 percent of the corrugated boxes produced each year are recycled, giving it one of the highest recycling rates of any material.
Corrugated is often made of recycled content and almost always made of post-consumer material.
Corrugated is universally accepted for recycling.
Corrugated is more environmentally friendly than ever, using non-toxic water-based inks and is processed without bleaching.
Corrugated packaging allows significant source reduction by eliminating the need for overwraps and secondary packaging.
